Hey Atlanta Black Minimalists! Kenya and Yolanda will be in your city this weekend. We'll be out and about on Saturday and want to do an impromptu gathering sometime during the day, so watch our social media for details or DM us if you'd like to meet up. Join the Black Minimalists team, Soilful City, and Hustlaz to Harvesters to build a compost bin for the Marvin Gaye Community Garden in NE Washington, DC.
We'll begin work at 10 am on Saturday, September 23rd and then have lunch (provided by us) from 1-2pm.
The groups will be working all day. Black Minimalists volunteers are welcome to stay on-site and continue working after lunch.
*Dress comfortably in clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
*If you have your own tools, please bring them. Some tools needed will include:
- speed squares
- safety glasses
- work gloves
