BLACK MINIMALISTS Volunteer Meetup | D.C.

Join the Black Minimalists team, Soilful City, and Hustlaz to Harvesters to build a compost bin for the Marvin Gaye Community Garden in NE Washington, DC. 

We'll begin work at 10 am on Saturday, September 23rd and then have lunch (provided by us) from 1-2pm. 

The groups will be working all day. Black Minimalists volunteers are welcome to stay on-site and continue working after lunch. 

*Dress comfortably in clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

*If you have your own tools, please bring them. Some tools needed will include:

  • drills/bits
  • speed squares
  • safety glasses
  • work gloves

*We are accepting donations on behalf of these organizations. We appreciate any support you can give! Click here to donate.

We'll send out an email to all those who RSVP the week of the event with a final list of tools and any updates.
